LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- She thought she lost everything she owned. Now the stolen U-Haul and minivan belonging to a woman who was moving cross-country has been found in Lynnwood.

Everett police say the vehicles were found in the 19200 block of 11th Place W in Lynnwood Friday afternoon after people spotted the abandoned truck and van and called 911. The license plates on the vehicles were replaced with ones from other states.

On her trek from Illinois to Alaska, the woman had stayed the night at an Everett Best Western Wednesday. When she went out the next morning, the U-Haul box truck was gone, along with a car dolly that was carrying her minivan.

Police issued photos from surveillance video to the public in hopes that a tip would lead police to the stolen vehicles.

Everett detectives are now working with the woman to get her property back. It's unknown if anything is missing.
