As the snow came down on Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood Tuesday night, one person took an alternate means of transportation down Queen Anne Avenue. He posted this video on Facebook and YouTube.com. The camera is attached to the pole he is holding.

Its a GoPro Hero HD. The image stabilization is pretty impressive. The pole is telescoping mono-pod. I am not too sure how the camera stays so steady but seems to work out pretty good...

The camera is steady to the pole, since it is attached to it. His hand is also steady relative to the camera, since he is holding the pole tightly. Since the camera is basically an extension of him, he is also pretty steady. If you look at the background you can see that the camera is actually moving a lot. Lastly, look at the shadows as he goes past lights. You can see a shadow of the pole and camera. Shadow at :13 is really good.
