Shooting inside a Seattle Central District bar

Two people were shot by a man inside the Twilight Exit near East Cherry St and 25th Avenue Sunday Night, and police fatally shot the gunman.

According to police, the shooter confronted his ex-girlfriend inside the bar. During the argument the shooter pulled out a gun and fired several shots.

A 25-year-old woman police say is the man’s ex-girlfriend and a 30-year old man who is an employee at the bar were the two victims.

As officers were preparing to enter the bar the gunman fired at the officers. One officer fired back killing the man.

None of the officers were injured.

Both victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
