A man and a woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Shoreline.
Sgt. Kathleen Larson with the King County Sheriff's Office says just before 9 a.m. Saturday a woman called 911 to report hearing two shots fired.
The woman lives in the home with her son, his wife and their 2-year-old child.
The woman went downstairs and found her daughter-in-law, who appeared to have been shot.
Officers who arrived on the scene were able to get the grandmother and the child safely out of the home, Larson said.
"Then when they went in to secure the home to ensure there was no one else in there, or looking for injured people, they found a man and a woman, both in their 30s, both apparently living at this home, were dead," said Larson.
