SEATTLE – A man was killed Tuesday afternoon after being shot in the head in downtown Seattle.
It happened at 4:41 p.m. at Second Avenue and Pike Street. The 31-year-old victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested a 27-year-old man near First Avenue and Pine Street and recovered a handgun. The suspect will be booked into the King County Jail on Investigation of Murder.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
The investigation disrupted downtown traffic for about 90 minutes after the shooting.
