A construction worker in Shelton searching for a wellhead found it, but not the way he wanted to.
Clinton Heinis, 33, was walking around this property on what seemed like stable ground. It was not.
He stepped on what turned out to be rotten boards and fell 45 feet down this hole into about 7 feet of water.
"I was in there for about an hour and 15 minutes and they lifted me up and they took me to the hospital,” he said.
Rescue crews quickly arrived at the scene and gave Heinis a helmet and life jacket while they worked to get him out.
He was taken to the hospital with hypothermia, but is expected to be OK.
