SHELTON, Wash. -- Two Shelton women who sued a Shelton lumber mill have settled for nearly $1 million.
Lorrie Haskins and another co-worker received $900,000 after they claim they endured years of sexual harassment by co-workers and management at Mason County Forest Products.
They sued their employer after they say their complaints fell on deaf ears.
"They would call us the C word, they would leave pornography in the porta-potties," said Haskins.
Haskins said she hopes this encourages other women dealing with the same abuse in the workplace to come forward.
The mill is now owned by Simpson Lumber.
