OLYMPIA, Wash. - For the second time this week, Derwin Pasley appeared before a Thurston County Judge on child molestation charges.
Two boys who played on the private football team Pasley coached have told police the 32-year-old sexually touched them after he drove them home from football games.
The first boy, a 14-year-old from Olympia, told police he was touched by his coach last Saturday.
Following Pasley's first court appearance Tuesday, a second accuser came forward.
"The mom of one the other boys on the team," said Olympia Police Commander Tor Bjornstad, "Heard it on TV and said, 'Gosh this is your coach, has anything ever happened to you?'"
"The young man broke down and started crying," said Bjornstad.
Investigators said that boy, a 13-year-old, said Paysley touched him in the same way last fall.
According to prosecutors, "several" other boys have come forward with similar claims, but Pasley only faces charges for the two boys.
Pasley was removed from his coaching position after the first boy made the allegations.
Loved ones who were in court with Pasley Thursday had no comment for KING 5 News.
