19-year-old woman found shot in head dies from injuries

Not sure the police will find out the real story, but I hope that this young woman didn't die because the driver of the vehicle didn't call 911 when the shooting happened. I think he left the scene of the shooting and then made up a story because he didn't want to explain the true facts. Drug deal gone bad. When the facts don't add up, they are not true. The police know this.

Several of you have come to the conclusion violent crime has finally come to Washington. Really? Washington is the Perv capital of the Northwest. As a teenager, I worked many a weekend digging around in the abundant undergrowth of nettles and blackberry brush searching for the remains of Ted Bundy's victims. It seems there is an endless supply of perverted serial killers in Washington. SOAPBOX opportunity: All of you Planned Parent Hood Right to choose folks who think it is alright to rip legs, heads and full grown bodies out of your wombs, because it is your choice should change your political view about the Death Penalty. How is it cruel to execute a perverted KILLER, when it is NORMAL for you to suck a full grown fetus out of your womb? I know it is like the judges that won't throw a repeat DUI driver in jail for 5 yrs, because they know they could be next for their drinking and driving habits. This is terrible!! I am so sorry for the girls family. What a tragedy at only 19 years old. That makes my heart ache so bad. I hope they figure out the story. I dont know if the driver had anything to do with it, but hopefully if he really is innocent, the cops won't try to smear the facts to MAKE him guilty. Ugh! @aniskyswift48160 - you know whats still around 23rd & Jackson today? CRACK!! lol and probably worse!

ellag- maybe the shooter was the driver of the Suv, he put her in the car after firing and hitting her in the crossfire, jumped in his rig and took off while being shot at from someone else who put the holes in the window.

If the driver does not flee, he will be retaliated against. It happens to most people involved in this type of murder case. He's better off being in police custody and telling all he knows.

Indiscrimate killings, drive-by shootings, murder, rape, robbery, burglary, you name it, it's here. Law enforcement does not have the resources nor are citizens willing to cough up more money to hire the cops needed. You get what you don't pay for, and we got it. All the die-hard liberals who run Seattle, King County, and the State of Washington are reaping the benefits of their campaigns. Add this to the fact that gay marriaage is gonna be legalized, and it's time to get the hell out of this state and move to a state that has moral values and its law enforcement personnel uphold the laws of THE PEOPLE. It's enough to make you sick to your stomach.

This sounds a little familiar. Almost 20 yrs ago my ex-bf took my car to "take a friend to his gf's house". Next thing I know, I get a call at 3am, the "friend" was shot in the head in my car and my bf was in jail claiming they were at a gas station in the CD and all of a sudden the passenger window shattered and his friend head was bleeding. He panicked and drove to the nearest firestation. Friend was taken to Harborview where he died, bf to jail for warrants. Turns out shell casings were near 23rd & Jackson, not the gas station. And what is around 23rd & Jackson at least 20 yrs ago? CRACK!!! They jacked a dealer for crack and the dealer was packing and started shooting. End of story. Don't think this was random at all especially if they were in Tukwila to start with.

The driver should flee the country or tell all he knows. Poor woman rest in peace. You girl were not the intended target. The driver got lucky and used the young girl as a Human Shield.

I agree with vffrwm - this is more than a drive by shooting. Why would you put someone with head wounds in your car and attempt to drive them to the hospital? Why are there bullet holes in the "rescue" car's passenger side window? It will be interesting to see if the whole story comes out.

Somehow I'm thinking there is more to this than just a drive by shooting. Why drive her to Harbor View when they no doubt had cell phones and could have and probably should have called 911 to get medics there quicker. Looks like more a dope deal gone bad.
