SEATTLE -- A convicted felon is back behind bars after being caught with a loaded gun and drugs on Seattle's Aurora Ave North.
Around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday officers contacted the man inside a 7-11 store on the 7300 block of Aurora Ave N. While officers were questioning the man they noticed a gun in his waistband.
Officers immediately detained the man and removed the loaded revolver.
Because the suspect is a convicted felon, he is not allowed to posses a firearm, so officers arrested him for gun possession.
During a search of the 36-year-old suspect's car, officers found methamphetamine, ecstasy, and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was booked into the King County Jail on unlawful gun possession and drug possession charges.
