WEST LINN, Ore. -- A Seattle woman was arrested Friday after police said she was driving drunk with her young children in the car, and her blood alcohol content (BAC) was measured at nearly four times the legal limit.
West Linn Police said Sarah Rattray, 43, crashed off of the I-205 south off-ramp at Willamette Drive at around 8:45 p.m., causing her tire to blow out. Rattray was getting help changing her tire from a passerby at a gas station when police approached her.
Officers said Rattray's BAC level was 0.29 percent, nearly four times the legal limit. Police said she had her two young daughters in the car with her on her drive from Seattle to West Linn, and neither they nor Rattray was injured in the crash.
Rattray was arrested and taken to the Clackamas Co. Jail, where she was booked on suspicion of DUII and two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
