Civil rights advocate Charlene Strong visited KING 5 to talk about the two decisions by the Supreme Court Wednesday morning. She shared what the rulings mean for gay and lesbian couples in Washington state and around the country.

Strong's partner of ten years, Kate Fleming died in 2006 when she became trapped in a basement studio as it flooded. Strong was allowed to be with Fleming as she was dying in the hospital, so she took her fight to Olympia.
