SEATTLE – Illness has caused the postponement of the The Elton John / Billy Joel Face 2 Face concerts in Seattle and Portland.

The shows originally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4; Saturday Nov. 7 at Seattle's KeyArena, and Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Portland's Rose Garden have been postponed.

According to John's Web site, Promoter Live Nation, KeyArena and The Rose Garden were told that the singer has been advised by his doctor to postpone the performances due to a serious case of e-coli bacterial infection and flu.

Organizers are working to establish new dates.

All patrons who have purchased tickets for the concerts are being asked to hold onto their tickets until more information is available regarding the rescheduled engagement.
