Seattle Police are investigating a shooting death that happened in the Central District Thursday night.
Around 6:44 p.m. officers responded to 911 reports of shots fired and then a man down at 28th Ave. S. and S. Lane St.
Officers arrived on scene in just under two minutes and found a 19-year-old man shot multiple times.
Authorities say they started CPR until medics arrived and took over shortly after.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
As officers responded to the area additional callers reported seeing a car speeding off southbound and a man running northbound from the shooting scene. No further descriptions or details were provided by the calling parties, according to police.
A police spokesperson says at this time there is no description of a suspect or suspect vehicle.
Homicide and Gang Unit detectives are investigating.
