Sea-Tac on modified snow alert

SEA-TAC, Wash. -- Sea-Tac International Airport was on modified snow alert for much of Wednesday, preparing for as much as six inches of snow.

A full alert happens after the airport receives three or more inches of snow or a quarter of an inch of freezing rain.

KING 5's Allen Schauffler learned tricks of the trade from the crews who keep the runways clear and the planes de-iced.
