KING 5's Linda Byron interviews Kathleen O’Toole, one of the three finalists for Seattle police chief. O’Toole, 60, was the Boston Police Commissioner from 2004 to 2006.
From 2006 to 2012, O’Toole served as Chief Inspector of the Garda Síochána Inspectorate, an oversight body responsible for bringing reform, best practice and accountability to the 17,000-member Irish national police service.
O’Toole served as a U.S. Justice Department monitor for the city of East Haven, Conn., and holds a law degree from New England School of Law.
In her personal life, O'Toole is an avid skier and golfer and plays the piano.
