SEATLE - There will be several road closures because of the Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday.
The course starts near Seattle Center at 5th and Harrison, next to the Experience Music Project. Entrants will travel through downtown streets, along the shores of Lake Washington, through the Arboretum and back to the Seattle Center.
The first wave of participants will take off at 7:15 a.m. and some roads will remain closed until 3 p.m.
Drivers should expect delays in parts of downtown, near Seward Park, and through the Madison Park, Arboretum and Eastlake neighborhoods.
