Renton woman missing, police seek public's help

RENTON, Wash. – Police are asking the public's help to find a missing woman who hasn't been seen by loved ones last weekend.

Renton Police say Kathy M. Chou, 19, was last seen at about 7 p.m. Sunday and last heard from at about 9:30 p.m. the same day. She was last known to be in the area of South Renton or Southcenter.

Friends and family say it's extremely unlike Kathy to be out of contact for this long. She is a high school senior and has no history of running away or missing school.

Here is a description of Kathy:

  • Asian
  • 5-feet, 7-inches tall
  • 180 pounds
  • Black hair with blond streaks and blue bangs
  • Piercing in bottom right lip
  • Usually wears pink rimmed glasses
  • Last seen wearing blue jeans and a horizontally striped, multicolor shirt

Kathy does not have any physical disabilities, but does take prescription medication and may be extremely fatigued since she does not have it with her.
