An alarming new report on climate change is expected to be released Tuesday by the federal government.
A draft of the report includes a sobering forecast about how climate and weather conditions may change here in the United States.
The report says temperatures in the U.S. could soar by as much as 10 degrees by 2100.
Snow and rain in the Northeast could increase by nearly a third.
Hurricanes in the southeast could be stronger, with some areas "highly vulnerable" to sea level rise.
And wildfires in the Southwest could increase with more intense drought.
KING 5 Chief Meteorologist Jeff Renner is in Washington D.C. He will interview the president Tuesday about the weather and climate change research.
