Let's just end the suspense right off the top: I'm going to be OK, and that means you're going to be OK, at least in a broad, general, "end-of-the-world" kind of way.

I know because Rene Aceves told me so, after the Tarot cards told HIM so. I went to Rene to get some kind of read on my immediate future after reading and hearing material on the Family Radio Network suggesting that May 21, 2011 will be the last Saturday of all. Or at least the last Saturday, or any day, before The Rapture, when some Christians get wafted into heaven and the rest of the world is left behind to suffer five months of pure hell before the actual end of everything.

And remember it all starts happening, this beginning of the end, this Saturday. The Family Radio website even has a little countdown calendar with the year "2012" ominously slashed with the red international symbol for "this ain't happening." Three days.

"Kind of disconcerting news," said John Keiser, a board member with Seattle Athiests.

With a straight face, Keiser says they're just here to help. They're soliciting disaster relief funds for the end-times, saying they will be here on earth to help anybody left behind cope with the suffering. And if the Rapture doesn't materialize this weekend as Family Radio head Harold Camping says it will, they plan to use any money raised to fund a nature and science summer camp for kids.

"This world is all we've got, and we've got to make it a little better," he said.

It all makes me wonder whether I should be putting some serious thought into my closing comments for the 5:00 o'clock news this Saturday. They could dramatic, and my last, if Rene and his tarot cards turn out to be wrong.

well it will be the end for some, and maybe those who want it to be the end will make it their own personal end. I hope not, but the disappointment of all the prep may be too much. Each day we have drama and an end to something, innocence, trust, security, ..tomorrow it will be something else, someone sleeping with someone they shouldn't, someone stealing peoples hard earned money, or children who think it is cool to embarrass and abuse other children until they kill themselves, priests who feel they can abuse and ask for forgiveness and go on to happiness.

I really dont think these premillennialists Read the bible. Jer 14:14-15 14 Then the Lord said to me, "The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility and the deception of their own minds

Matt 24:36-44 36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Make no mistake he is coming but no one knows the hour or day. Philipians 2:10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Sunday's headline: It's May 22nd, and we're all still here. Awkward!

Australia is 18 hours ahead of the US. You'd think we'd have some sort of advance warning from our friends Down Under. Technically, it'll still be May 20th in our part of the world when all the "fun" begins! Personally, I'm looking forward to less traffic on the freeways, and shorter lines at the amusement parks! And, I've also heard it stated that we can not predict the Rapture, for we know not the day or the hour. This is just gonna prove that the G-man is the ultimate prankster! t

This is awesome. Hopefully it's true... Finally, the world will be free from all the religious whack jobs.. Like kak55... I can only imagine how much better off we'll be. It's a shame religion was created to keep the poor in check, because a rapture is just what this world needs.

I say get ready and prepared anyways. What's the worst that could happen if it isn't true? At least you'd be prepared for the next crisis!

Hmmm Tarot cards to tell the future? One of the sources that God HATES! Luke 12:40 states: "You must be ready, because the Son of Man, (Jesus) will come at an hour when you DO NOT EXPECT Him." Did anyone predict 911 BEFORE it happened? The earthqauke and resulting devastation in Japan? The end of your world as you know it, could happen at any moment.
