Consuela . . . the mother lives with Jennifer and her family in Utah. When Terri left Steve she did so leaving behind all her children except Jennifer who was old enough to split from all the trauma and drama that made up the Powell family. She and Kirk have five children but still allow her mother to live with her. I call that being a hero as the mother abandoned her other children leaving them with Steve Powell. It sounds like Terri is back here in WA and involved once again with the three remaining children here in WA . . . Alina, Michael and John. Wonder if she will mosey on over to the jail and catch up with Steve.

The estranged sister of Josh Powell is a hero in my book..She was smart enough to know what her brother Josh was capable of as well as her father being a pervert..Sometimes the truth hurts but one always feels better when they face it..She is better off without her mother and the rest of this disfunctional family..They are diseased.

The estranged sister is the sister who supported the coxes efforts in having there grandchildren and is the one who was the one convinced his mother to not bury him near or in that cemetary and for that I am sure her effort is appreciated. Remember you cant pick your relatives nor do you always agree with them or even like them or there actions

Apparenetly Josh wanted to be cremated, why don't they just finish that task and scatter his ashes some significant place of their family memories. Though the family would even think of burying him near the boys, I doubt they have pleasant family memories, seems the whole family only think of how to harm and torment others. Thank goodness Terri found her way out of that family.

puyallup_leon078 - You should have noticed the story reads "Josh Powell's estranged sister" Estranged being the key word there. In other words, Josh and his sister were not on speaking terms. Maybe, just maybe she didn't care for him because she knew him. While Josh P. was a disgust to everyone, I don't think his estranged (there's that word again) sister really deserves anyone's misplaced anger. Blame is like anger in that it dulls one sense of empathy.

Regardless, cremate him and send his ashes in a coffee can and put it on a train heading with all of the other trash thats being sent eastward. Let him family dig through mounds of trash to find that coffee can. Im not being harsh, im being realistic. Did his family ever think about Susan? I doubt it unless they wanted money. So... why did the family want this in the beginning? Its a good thing that Crime Stoppers got involved. I read an articla that SGT TROYER (hope i got that last name correct) if not,(Im sorry for getting it wrong - spokesman for the sherif's dept)... haylee, I agree with you. Josh Powell's family is as sick as he is. Just to be defiant his family could very well cremate him and spread his ashes on top of those precious babies. Just remember, Susan and the boys are together in Heaven and Josh is in HELL!!

Thank heavens the Powell family has the conscience of Jennifer Graves. Josh Powell's mother and other siblings must have been nuts to even consider such a thing. Send Josh's remains back to his mother and let her bury him in Utah. I also wonder what part Steve Powell had on the initial intent to use the same cemetery. Let those precious boys rest in peace and I hope that Susan's remains are found so she can also be a peace here on earth.

I too am glad to hear this. I find it hard to believe that Josh's family would even contemplate burying him anywhere near the boys. Good decision on their part and probably best left quiet.

This is the 1st thing done right in this case. So sad to see a whole family wiped out by one sick man, I really don’t understand people like Mr. Powell if you want to kill yourself great you do that but for god sakes let your babies do what they are meant to do on this earth growup and have a purpose. This is such a tragedy for the Cox family my heart goes out to them, how can 2 people deal with such tragic deaths of three beloved family members in one lifetime.

i think this is a wise decision to make if thier deaths were an accident it would be one thing but to die at the hands of a parent that says they love thier kids an then murder them should have no right to be buried near them.....
