Police in Snohomish County are searching for a missing 13-year-old from Stanwood.
According to the county sheriff's office, Karly A. McKay was last seen at her residence in the 19000 block of Happy Valley Rd on Tuesday afternoon.
Police believe McKay was abducted by her biological mother, 31 year-old Trina K. Anderson, whose custody of Karly was recently revoked by DSHS.
Anderson is 5'10", approx. 140 lbs. with brown hair and is believed to be traveling in a 2002 Lexus SUV, Washington license plate 341YPL.
Karly is 5', approx. 90-100 lbs. with blonde-brown hair, and blue eyes.
She was last seen by her grandfather when he dropped her off at home after school around 3 p.m.
The sheriff's office said Karly has no history of being runaway, and evidence in the house has led investigators to believe that Anderson was at the residence at the time of Karly's disappearance.
Anyone with information on the location of Anderson or Trina is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
