The Marysville Police Department is investigating the deaths of two persons discovered Friday morning at a home in the 5900 block of 64th St.

Police responded to a call from an 82-year-old man who said he believed his wife and grandson were dead in the home's living room. Police arrived and found the man's 69-year-old wife and 26-year-old grandson dead.

According to the Marysville Police, the grandson recently moved from Florida to live with his grandparents. The grandfather said the grandson was dealing with mental health issues.

"We are in the very early stages of a death investigation; with lots of questions that still need to be answered," said Marysville Police Commander Robb Lamoureux. "Because of the unanswered questions we cannot speculate as to what has occurred, however, we do believe strongly this is not a random act of violence and that there is no immediate threat of danger to local residents."
