Authorities are asking for the community’s help in locating a missing 71-year-old Puyallup man.
David Dildine was last seen at his home on 15th Ave. SW.around 11 p.m. Thursday.
Dildine is described as a white male, 5-foot 11-inches tall, weighing 200 lbs. He is believed to be wearing grey jeans and brown leather slip on shoes.
Dildine left his vehicles, medication, identification and credit cards at his residence, but police said there are no indications of foul play.
Pierce County Search and Rescue has responded to the location, and air crews from the King County Sheriff's Department Air Support Unit and the Washington State Patrol Aviation Section are searching the heavily wood area surrounding the man’s home.
A release issued Friday afternoon also indicated the Central Pierce Fire Department would be conducting a water search of nearby Clark's Creek.
In an effort to get information out to the community, a reverse 911 call is planned to citizens living in the area providing them with information and a description Dildine.
