AUBURN, Wash. -- Authorities say seven people were wounded, at least two critically, when a gunman opened fire at a casino near Seattle.
The shooting happened at a nightclub inside the Muckleshoot Casino at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Isaac Ross and his buddy Peter were there for a going away party.
"The place was crowded, the music was playing, people were dancing on the dance floor,” said Peter Chafouleas.
More than 200 people were on the dance floor.
Auburn police say they believe a 42-year-old Covington man walked in, scanned the floor and aimed first at one specific person.
"We know that they were estranged husband and wife so it appears she and her boyfriend or her companion were targets," said Commander Mike Hirman / Auburn Police.
"I was standing there and I saw four people drop," said Chafouleas.
The estranged wife, her companion, two of her sisters and three bystanders were shot.
A security guard is credited with tackling the man before he got out the door.
Police are not sure if the couple has any previous domestic violence issues or restraining order records.
"With Kent's last night and then ours today it's pretty shocking really, especially for seven people to get hit,” said Hirman.
On Saturday, 11 people were hurt in a shooting at a car show in Kent.
