TACOMA, Wash. – Firefighters conducted a high-angle rescue Thursday morning to rescue a driver from a pickup truck that plummeted down a 100-foot embankment.

It happened around 10 a.m. in the 6300 block of Marine View Drive, near the Cliff House restaurant.

There was no immediate word of what caused the truck to go off the road or the driver's condition.
