BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Puget Sound Energy says power has been restored to all customers who lost power during last week's snow and ice storm.
PSE says they're currently dealing with a few scattered outages from high winds overnight on whidbey Island. They expect all customers on Whidbey Island to have power restored by Thursday night.
Anyone without power is encouraged to call PSE customer support at 888-225-5773.
Puget Sound Energy spokesman Roger Thompson said gusty winds that blew through the area Tuesday night and early Wednesday added about 38,000 fresh outages. Crews worked through the night and restored power by Thursday morning.
Since the storms began, Thompson says the utility has restored service to 450,000 customers. Some of those customers went without power for almost a week. Puget Sound Energy serves 1.1 million electrical customers in Western Washington.
