One person shot outside Renton apartment complex

RENTON, Wash. – One person was injured in a shooting Thursday evening outside the Summerhill Apartments in Renton.

The drive-by shooting took place in the 10400 block of SE 174th Street.

According to police, the victim, who was walking on the sidewalk, was shot multiple times and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is still on the loose, and believed to have been in a dark red or maroon, four-door sedan.

Police and canine units are on scene.

What? Most all news agencies never mention the race of a suspect unless he is black or hispanic. If the suspect is white, they will not mention race. Is this what you mean?

So they got a description of the vehicle, and the lone suspect... I wonder why King5 won't give a description of the suspect? Actually I know...but King 5 doesn't want to be labled as racists

Well, another one bites the dust... Is Washington becoming a shooting gallery / murder capitol or what? Almost every week somebody ends up poppin' a cap in somebody's Arse!
