i will take all my words back..... i dont got one part did ions parents know were is he going? at this late time at 2 o'clock? know i know the reall truth about what happend there. God saved him from many thing and he promissed that he is going to baptisse and be a better boy but he didnt do what did he promised but God did, because its sayd that " Domnul nu se lasa badjocorit" God saved him bevause Ion asked Him for that and he asked God for forgivens and he didnt do what he promissed to do so God took im away we know why. And i think i know were is he know.Hope not in the bad place.Ion got what he needed. IM REALLY SORRY FOR HIM AND EVERYBODY FOR THIS WORDS BUT THIS IS THE TRUTH. :( :( :( :(

Also I would like to add, that Ion wasn't in the garage stealing!!!!! He was in his car the whole time!!!!!!!!! He didn't truly understand what transpired the the garage with the Police Officers. PEOPLE NEED to shut their mouths, you don't know what the TRUE police report said!!!! It's sad that the one who wasn't actually doing the crime (the driver) had to die! 12 rounds is pretty obsessive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will miss you Ion!!!

Something to think about. my guess: young, inexperienced officer. the suspects were in the car, they wouldn't have gotten far anyways, and the epilogue could have been far less dramatic.

The police do have the right to defend themselves just the same as every one of us. There is nothing to indicate that this was another summary punishment. But, those of you who think the police should have the authority for summary execution may like it better in Burma.

I first would like to say that I am truly blessed to know Ion Ungureanu and Ion Ungureanu HAS NO CRIMINAL RECORD!!! He is a Church going man, who unfortunately befriend the suspect who was shot and is in the Hospital. Last Sunday was the last day I saw Ion alive with the other suspect. He tries to bring the good out of others and take them to church with him to know Gods Word. I think this is a sad story of being around 2 suspects who got him caught in the wrong place and wrong time..... Please understand that these comments are hurtful to others.....and YOU DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY OF WHAT CONSPIRED. Ion Ungureanu, may God bless you with his Grace and Presence. I found this interesting this morning. I was reading a story about an Armored Car robbery. The security guard shot the suspect after he robbed him then gave first aid. The robber had no weapon on him. People commented on it and gave the guard a pat on the back. Which I also do because he deserved to be shot! Next I read a story about 2 police officers that shot and kill a guy that pointed a shotgun at them and then gave first aid. Peoples comments on this story were about how the officers shouldn’t of shot and talked about how they are power tripping. This is the same comments I have read on most police shootings. What I don’t get is how people will comment on Police Officer involved shootings and will trash talk about the officer and how we are all bad guys for shooting suspects (even when they have weapons). But this security guard is getting kudos for shooting an unarmed suspect. Doesn’t seem right to me!

Maybe if you live in the area and have known for many months abou the on going burglaries, strangers breaking into homes while families are sleeping or come out in the morning to find your car has been stolen or other property that you worked for and own are now gone. Your neighbors have gathered and E-mails sent to warn each other to be on guard. Then around 3 AM Sat.you are awaken from your sleep to a loud roar and not sure what the sound is, get up to see bright light flashing over your backyard with the steady sound of a very low flying helicopter going back and forth, out your front window you see police officers checking your neighborhood and the sound of the helicopter continues for a very long terrifying time while your family is staying low knowing our home may not be so safe. That is what we did here on Tacoma Point in Lake Tapps early Sat. morning. Sorry about the loss of a life but relieved it was the bad guy and not the good guys. Thank you Pierce County Deputies

It is good Pierce County Deputies, and all Police, be quick on the draw and precise in thier aim when circumstances dictate this course of action. This childs death is of his own making.

Thank God an officer was in the right place at the right time or we would have lost another that tells you how many folks we have out on the streets that have no business being there. Yes, I support the shoot now, ask questions later! Too many times times we've seen them give the bad guys the benefit of the doubt. If there are bad people seen doing these bad things, just think of all the times they haven't been seen doing horrible crimes. We live near a police shooting range, they've been very active the last month or two at this range... no it's not in Southern Puyallup, it is North but South of Redondo.

If you point a weapon at a police officer albeit a gun, or a 5 ton rocket on wheels- expect to get shot. Police officers save lives everyday- weren't some of you people the same ones criticizing the Everett police the other day because the chase got away? Those of you making excuses as to why the police are wrong and the criminal deserves a break? This isn't nursery school! This isn't a criminal side and police side and both need to compromise to come to a solution. This is REAL lives that were threatened and a three pieces of **** who could care less about you, me or the police. They would kill you for the "trinket". Don't follow the police? Hm. Could have been my father, or my brother....breaking into an occupied house at 2:30 in the morning, and using a sledge hammer etc to try to break open a safe? Then attempting to flee the scene by attempting to run down a uniformed police officer? If my father and brother were that stupid, that desperate, or that psycopathic, then they would face the same risk, and possibly pay the same price. Fortunately, my father and brothers are smarter than to do something like that. And more respectful of the law, and the property rights of others.

For those people who think the deputy and the peanut gallery are wrong? First of all, nobody that I associate with or was raised by would break in to somebody's home or try to run over the law in an attempt to get away. I would rather live in a society where there is law and real consequences for the bad guy. And if the bad guy tries to kill somebody? Bad guy must be taken out. And for the families? My sympathy goes only so far, if maybe you would have disciplined your son at an early age, then maybe they wouldn't think that attempted murder was okay. And you wouldn't be shedding tears now, its a little too late. The police did us a favor. If he'd have gotten away, maybe next time he would have thought it okay to murder a homeowner or run over a kid in the getaway. All I have to say to the deputy? THANK YOU.

I am very glad to see the majority of people feel the officer did the right thing. I think about the other 6 officers that have been killed lately very often. I am so sorry for their families it will alter their lives forever. People that think he should have just jumped out of the way are crazy. What about the life this officer has to live knowing that they took another persons life. I don't think when the deputy went on duty they said to themself " I'm gonna shoot someone". I have thought about it "lhgoveia80051795". You are wrong. The Deputy might be dead today had he not shot the suspect. The burglar made the decision to commit a crime, then he made a decision to run, then he made the decision to run over a Deputy. This is not TV were the Deputy can jump out of the way in the nick of time. Law enforcement has a lot to think about during the course of a situation as this, the suspect could have easily stopped this from happening a number of times. He made bad decisions time and time again. This will not happen to anyone I know, since I do not associate with the criminal types, or people that are dumb enough not to follow a Deputies instructions.

shooting a burglary suspect is definitely more than okay in my world!Just what the world needs,a long drawn out trial for scumbags who will just get released and commit more crimes.Police have the right to protect themselves and the community.Is your heart still bleeding spearhead???Let it bleed for the criminals.

I think what spearhead is most upset with is not that a cop was forced in to a position where he had to take deadily force in order to protect himself, but rather everyones misanthropic reaction to it. It is distirtbing how the vocal people in our commuity seem to lack compassion, I mean, someone lost a son, a brother, maybe a dad... Oh well... Society is a lost cause...

SPEARHEAD. I have sen alot of really ignorant comments on many of these types of stories, but yours is the all timer. Hmmm... unknowen people in your home at 2:30 in the morning, must have just been cold and wanted to warm up and get a bite to eat. I am sure that this by far not their first law violation. I truely believe that you may still have a spear lodged in your assumed brain that has blowen all of the circuitry to reality. Way to go Deputies and maybe it will slow down the low lives of these cities.

Sorry Spearhead, but the cops have a right to defend themselves. It appears that the bad guys did not want to go to court to establish their innocence and instead, chose to try and do bodily ham to the Deputies to keep them from arresting them. When you do that, you should expect the police to shoot back.

Good shooting! Thank you Pierce County Sheriff deputies for getting rid of one of the bad guys. Keep up the good work. The fewer these guys on the streets the better.
