LYNNWOOD, Wash. - The Snohomish County Multi Agency Response Team is investigating after a man was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Lynnwood on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. near the intersection of 152nd Place Southwest and Meadow Road, just to the east of I-5.

Snohomish County Deputies were investigating a violation of a court order. During a confrontation, a 46-year-old Lynnwood man was shot and later died at Harborview

No officers were injured.

Neighbor Benjamin Smokovich said he heard lots of gunshots.

"I was concerned actually, I pulled my daughter out of bed, made her come down stairs and get down on the floor because I didn't know where the shots were coming from," said Smokovich.

Investigators said that they were in the early stages of their investigation on Wednesday night, and they could not discuss any details about the confrontation that led up to the shooting.
