A Renton man pleaded not guilty Thursday to a fatal stabbing in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood last month.
Hever Zuniga-Guzman, 22, is charged with second degree murder in Oct. 26 death of Faustino Cervantes, 21. Police said Cervantes and his girlfriend were walking to their car after leaving a bar when he was stabbed in the chest and died.
Police said Cervantes got into a fight outside Tia Lou's nightclub prior to the stabbing.
Detectives believe he tried to walk away, but the suspect followed him to his car, parked in a lot near 1st Avenue and Bell Street.
