Northwest musicians donated their time and talents Friday night at a benefit concert for Oso landslide victims.
Acoustic for Oso at the Triple Door in downtown Seattle included the Presidents of the United States of America as well as Duff McKagan, former bassist for Guns N' Roses.
"None of us can imagine what that must be like, searching for people and how close knit that community was," McKagan said.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the United Way of Snohomish County to support families as well as short and long-term projects associated with the slide.
"Music is a healer. Music helps lighten the load," Rick Friel said. "Music can help you to get through this pain that everyone in Washington State is going through."
