SEATTLE - The moment visitors walk up to the door of Stu Heinecke's studio, they're greeted by a WANTED sign with a picture of a man Heinecke believes ransacked and stole two of his computers.
"This is the case, the case for my computer," says Heinecke as he pulls out two large plastic bags, which he uses to wrap up his computers before taking them home at night.
The nationally recognized cartoonist and publisher says he'll do it until authorities nab the guy responsible for stealing from him.
"They're not getting anything more from me," he said.
Now, new surveillance video may help nab the suspect. It's a clear front-face view of a man police believe may also be responsible for burglarizing Heinecke's Interbay office.
It was recorded at the Nautica apartment complex a few miles away. The manager noticed a resemblance after seeing KING 5's initial report.
In the weeks since the burglary, some stolen items from other burglarized businesses have been discovered, including one of Heinecke's computers.
"It was a brand-new iMac, and it was waiting to be formatted, so there was essentially nothing on it," he said.
He's holding out hope that the computer, which holds his life work, will be discovered.
Authorities have arrested a man selling some of the items on Craigslist, but they don't believe he's the thief.
"It's a disruption," says Heinecke. "(Stealing) is so unnecessary. Go out and get a job!"
Today police obtained a search warrant for the home of another suspect they believe may be involved in selling the stolen items.
