Mukilteo ferry service resumes after bomb threat

MUKILTEO -- Ferry service between Mukilteo and Clinton has now resumed after being temporarily suspended Thursday morning due to a bomb threat at the Mukilteo ferry terminal.

Washington State Patrol say that just after 9 a.m. a ferry passenger overheard the suspect mention a bomb threat on a ferry docked at the Mukilteo terminal.  The suspect then dropped a bag from the upper deck to the car deck.  
 
State Patrol were then called to investigate as well as several other agencies.
 
The suspect has been detained and is being questioned by State Patrol.  
 
WSP and other agenicies investigated the suspicious bag and ferry service resumed just after 11 a.m.
