It was standing room only Tuesday at a public hearing on the future of Metro. The transit service is facing budget cuts that will seriously affect riders.
It would mean a 17 percent reduction in service and 65 routes possibly eliminated.
Two years ago Metro threatened a 17 percent cut. At the last minute they passed a $20 car tab increase and saved metro service.
They're now waiting for the state legislature in special session to grant them the right to raise more money again.
