A 27-year-old man died when a car crossed the center line on State Route 9 in Snohomish County on Friday night.
The State Patrol said a 27-year-old man died in the accident around 10:45 p.m.
Troopers say the driver, heading northbound, passed another vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a southbound car head-on.
Two other cars could not avoid the crash.
Paramedics transported two people to the hospital.
