Boeing and Jakarta-based Lion Air finalized an order for the largest single contract in the history of Boeing.

The agreement includes 201 737 MAXs, 29 Next-Generation 737-900ERs and purchase rights for an additional 150 planes. The order is valued at $22.4 billion and is the largest airplane order by both dollar value and total number of airplanes for Boeing. The delivery date is set for 2017.

Lion Air, Indonesia's largest private airline, currently operates or has on order a total of 178 Next-Generation 737s.

And they ordered the new 987 planes that are cheaper The 987 are is the same as the 787 with changes, like unpainted and without wings. Without paint it saves money, engines are an add-on. It giveing the buyer choices, like going with a v-8, v-6 or 4 cylinder. Boeing has sold less than 850 of the 787 and they need to sell 1000 to break even, so the smartest thing to do was to renumber the 787 to the 987. These planes will also have new computer onboard, called windows 2020, with an operating system that computers had in 2000, with more ad-on like hard drive, cd rom drive, floppy drive, 2400 baud modem, sound card, speakers, and a spare drink holder /dvd drive. Standard prices is 699, with onee hunderexd dollars for each seperate add-on. mice and keyboard come with the computer, cat not included for catching the mice.
