SEATTLE -- One last try is the word from unions representing more than 30,000 grocery store workers around Western Washington. Union representatives are heading back to the bargaining table with four major grocery chains on Thursday. If a deal isn’t reached, workers could go on strike.

In the meantime, union members have been preparing for a strike and making picket signs. Member in King, Thurston and Mason Counties have authorized a strike. Unions say shoppers should check out Standwithourcheckers.com for shopping alternatives in your area.
