GRAHAM, Wash. – A man has been injured after a jacked up car that he was working on fell on top of him Thursday afternoon.

The Graham Fire Department says it happened in the area of 134th Avenue East and 304th Street East near Kapowsin around 2 p.m.

The man's condition was not immediately known.

It's not immediately clear whether the car was on jack stands or a hydraulic jack.

Plain and simple, he had the car on the hydraulic jack. There is a reason why man invented jack stands-- it is to prevent accidents like this from happening. Hmmm, the man was from the backwoods of Graham; go figure. You don't have to be stupid, but it helps. 'Nuff said.

Obviously it was not on jack stands. I see this cr@p all the time. Many DIYers do not respect what professionals go through in their trade to do what they do. It is arrogance and carelessness that causes one to do that.
