SEATTLE -- Seattle's Intiman Theatre will reopen for the 2012 season due to a fundraisng effort that helped raise $1 million.
The Intiman closed its doors last spring with big budget problems and has been trying to raise $1 million since.
With the goal met, Artistic Director Andrew Russell will proceed with plans for theater's festival production. A group of 12 actors, most playing multiple roles, will stage four plays, with all four opening on the same day. One will be staged outdoors. Plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Albee and Dan Savage will be presented.
