Tacoma Police on Saturday arrested the husband of a woman who was found dead in her apartment and booked him for investigation of homicide.
The body of the woman was found by co-workers around 2 p.m. Friday in the apartment on S. Highland Avenue. The co-workers went to check on her after she didn’t show up for work. Police said the apartment door was open and they went inside.
A Tacoma Police spokesperson said detectives determined the husband was the primary suspect and that he was seen driving a stolen vehicle. After a short pursuit, he was arrested at 500 S. 49th Street.
