Environmentalists rallied on Puget Sound Sunday with hopes the president will hear their message.

Hundreds gathered at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. They circulated a petition calling on President Obama to stop the Keystone XL Pipeline through the U.S.

They're also fighting an effort to transport millions of tons of coal on train tracks through Seattle on its way to Asia.

Mayor Mike McGinn says he asked the City of Seattle pension board and financial managers to divest from all of their fossil-fuel holdings.
