SEATTLE -- Many Husky football fans would like to get their paws on a hot ticket that goes on sale Tuesday morning.

The Dawgs are playing in the Holiday Bowl on December 30th, and tickets went on sale at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets have been available to season and package holders, but Tuesday is the first time University of Washington is selling tickets to the general public.

UW officials say they have about 5,000 tickets left. You  either come in person at the UW to buy the Holiday Bowl tickets, call or purchase them online. And tickets may be scare since the Huskies haven't been to a bowl game in eight years. Plus, they're taking on the Nebraska cornhuskers in a rematch after a tough loss this season.

Tickets on sale at the University of Washington will cost $70, including tax and service fees. You can buy up to 4 tickets.

KING 5 checked around and compared prices.  Online at StubHub.com, cheap seats - we're talking the farthest section - are going for $65.95, which includes shipping and fees. The most expensive tickets are $250.

And the best available seats on Ticketmaster will run you $80-$95.50. That also includes tax and fees.

UW employees say there are some advances to buying your tickets through the UW.

"We're all together, so we're a dedicated Husky section. I know that's a good thing for a lot of people. You want to see a lot of purple in the stadium. You'll want to be assured you're among Husky fans," said Carter Henderson, UW employee.

Something else to think about while you're in Southern California for the Holiday Bowl. If you're a true Dawgs fan, you could check out the Huskies men's basketball team when they take on USC the day before the Holiday Bowl. Then the men's team plays UCLA the day after the Holiday Bowl.

Way to go. Countless mistakes in such a short story. This is embarrassing.

What's a "go one sale"? That's what happens when you beat WSU, you gain their stupidity and spelling mistakes.
