It sounds hard to believe with the summer we’ve been having, but Seattle could break some heat records late this week and this weekend.
KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott says the temperature at Sea-Tac Airport could reach 86 degrees Thursday. That would beat the old record for Sept. 8 of 85 degrees. On Saturday, the temperature could reach 88, which would beat the Sept. 10 record of 85.
Marriott said it would be the first time this summer the record at Sea-Tac Airport would be broken.
