Goodwill has announced plans for a new store in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.
Called "Goodwill South Lake Union," the 4,800-square-foot store will be located at 411 Westlake.
“This is going to be a different kind of Goodwill store, one that’s smaller and more modern in design,” said Cindi Forslund, Vice President of Operations for Goodwill.
“We are excited to be part of this great neighborhood with a store that reflects the vibrancy of its residents and workers. The South Lake Union community has a long history of environmental awareness and support for recycling and re-use," said Forslund.
Goodwill South Lake Union is the 22nd Goodwill store in the north Puget Sound region and will stock a selection of clothing, home and office items, housewares, linens and small appliances.
Proceeds from purchases help Goodwill provide free job training programs to low-income and underserved people in the community.
