Cost to see Gonzaga, UW play postseason basketball

Let the bracket betting begin. The field of 68 teams in the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is now set.

Landing a No. 1 seed in the West Division: the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Gonzaga will face No. 16 seed Southern on Thursday in Salt Lake City.

The University of Washington men's' basketball team learned Sunday evening it earned the 6th seed in its region of the 76th National Invitation Tournament. The Huskies will play 3rd-seeded BYU Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. PT at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah.

For both games, Salt Lake City is the nearest major airport and flights are still available through Delta.

Round trip tickets online, cost $568 from Sea-Tac Airport if you leave after work Wednesday and return home Thursday night. If you depart on Wednesday afternoon, the ticket could cost around $515 according to Delta.

The price is the same for fans headed to Provo for the Husky game.

If you plan to drive, it's around 880 miles from Seattle, which adds up to a 13.5-hour drive. If you drive a vehicle that gets about 25 miles per gallon, fuel will cost you about $275 round trip to get to the Husky game.
