The Federal Aviation Administration is ordering airlines to inspect the fuel line connectors on all Boeing 787s
The safety directive was issued after fuels leaks were reported on two in-service Dreamliners.
Airlines have one week to check the fuel line system wires and 21 days to check the fuel line connectors.
Boeing recommended similar inspections in November.
