The Everett Police Department Majors Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that left a 56-year-old Everett woman injured.
At about 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Police were called to the 220 block of Fulton Avenue after receiving a 911 call that a woman had been shot. When they arrived they found the woman conscience and alert with what appeared to be three gunshot wounds.
The woman, who was the 911 caller, was able to tell the officers that she was lying on her couch when she heard what she thought were fireworks outside. When she got up to investigate she discovered that she had been shot.

Officers found several bullet holes in the building, but it’s not known how many rounds were fired. No one else was injured in the shooting.
