EDMONDS, Wash. – Police arrested three employees and the owner of a bikini barista stand for allegedly exposing themselves and letting customers touch them.
Edmonds police said they launched an investigation last October after citizens complained about baristas at Java Juggs on Highway 99 and 212th Street Southwest exposing themselves to customers.
Undercover officers posed as customers and recorded video of the alleged activity. Police said, in most cases, the women would expose themselves to get better tips. Some of the activity involved the baristas allowing customers to touch them in exchange for money.
One of the four people arrested was the 49-year-old owner of three Java Juggs stands, police said. She is charged with three counts of prostitution and one count of permitting prostitution.
Three other employees who were not arrested could also face charges.
