A Snohomish County Sheriff's deputy suffered multiple bee stings while searching for an armed suspect in Snohomish County Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies and police dogs were searching for a suspect wanted for stealing a motorcycle near Marysville on 116th NE when the deputy stumbled into a bees nest.

"Deputy who was stung is doing fine (albeit in pain)," tweeted the sheriff's office.

Helicopters in the air and several police officers on the ground search for the wanted suspect, but after several hours and no arrest, they suspended the search.
